Palm oil mill effluent (POME) is the most produced waste among other types of waste, which around 60% in every 100% processing fresh fruit bunches containing heavy metals, namely ferrous metal (Fe). Montmorillonite (MMT) one best adsorbents used to reduce concentration Fe POME. In addition, this mineral also has a high cation fertilization capacity so that space between layers MMT able accommodate large amounts cations and make unique material. review, assurance mass variety as adsorbent contact time on adsorption POME was resolved utilizing Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) surface morphology analysis before after using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
